Shared Habitat

Shared Habitat balances structured outdoor living with ecological planting, bringing together clean architectural form and native, pollinator-focused gardens designed for both people and place.

Defined Living Spaces

A recta-linear pool and adjoining patio establish a clear architectural framework, organizing the landscape into defined outdoor rooms. A Douglas fir pergola anchors the dining area, offering shade, comfort, and a sense of enclosure that extends daily living outdoors. Together, these elements create a sequence of spaces for gathering, dining, and relaxation—each carefully scaled to support how people move through and inhabit the landscape.

Living Ecology

Between these structured spaces, pollinator-friendly perennial gardens are woven throughout the site, supporting seasonal change, biodiversity, and habitat creation. Mossy limestone boulders and natural stone accents provide moments of rest and visual grounding, softening the geometry of the built forms. The result is a landscape that functions as a true shared habitat. Supporting ecological systems while creating a rich, lived experience for the people who move through it.
